Sixth Grade BYOD begins January 22

With the start of the second semester, the long-anticipated roll-out of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) for 6th grade begins! As you know, GPPSS continues to explore initiatives that will expand learning and communication beyond the walls of our classrooms - among them are the Schoology Learning Management System (LMS) and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD). The District is working to balance a plan that respects our community's input in Strategic Planning, and prepares students for college and career. If you are interested in purchasing a recommended device, please visit Sehi's website to receive educational discount pricing.

The district understands that not all families may be able to afford a device for their student but would like to partake in BYOD. If you are in need of assistance to purchase a device for your student, GPPSS may be able to assist based on the particular need.  Students who are unable to BYOD will have similar devices provided for them; parents are asked to contact their building principal.
