Hello it's Uncle Gerry... In Concert!

Join Motor City Music Together and Hummingbirds Music Together on Saturday, March 2nd for family singing, dancing and laughter along with "Uncle Gerry" Dignan, the beloved voice from the Music Together recording, in concert to benefit Detroit based program, Alternatives For Girls. This concert is designed especially for age 5 and under, but it's fun for the whole family! Grab your tickets here

Concert proceeds will benefit Alternatives For Girls which helps homeless and high-risk girls and young women avoid violence, teen pregnancy and exploitation, and helps them to explore and access the support, resources and opportunities necessary to be safe, to grow strong and to make positive choices in their lives. "Uncle Gerry" has been singing to Music Together families for years! Even If you haven't taken a Music Together class, you can bring your kids to experience this concert treat! Not only does Gerry sing for Music Together, but he also performs internationally, has recorded with Grammy-nominated cellist, David Darling, and has contributed to the work of Music for People (David Darling, co-founder), an organization dedicated to self-expression through improvisational music. He was also a member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus and performed at the Concerthalle in Berlin, Germany, as well as in New York at Carnegie Hall.

Advance purchase is advised! $15 prepaid online/$20 at the door per family up to a family of 6 people. Additional family members (grandparents, aunts, uncles) above the 6 person limit are $5 per person.
